The following are the courses that I am currently teaching (or have previously taught) at the Department of Electronic & Computer Engineering, Satya Wacana Christian University. Please go to the Downloads page to download class presentations and other related materials.
Current courses
EE-412 ISYARAT DAN SISTEM 1 (SIGNALS & SYSTEMS 1)
This is an undergraduate course presenting the fundamentals of signals and systems analysis. Main concepts and properties of signals and systems and also Fourier analysis of continuous- and discrete-time signals are covered in this course.

- Class Presentations: Not available. For this course, I’m taking the old-fashioned chalk and blackboard (or marker and whiteboard) approach!
EE-522/CE-621 KOMUNIKASI TEKNIK (TECHNICAL WRITING & PRESENTATION)
Being able to solve engineering problems is not the only thing a good engineer has to do. You still need to be able to write a good report and present technical materials in a manner that will get your ideas through to your audience. In this course, you will learn exactly how to do that. Who knows, maybe you’ll become the next Steve Jobs!

EE-671 PENGOLAHAN CITRA & VIDEO DIGITAL (DIGITAL IMAGE & VIDEO PROCESSING)
This course discusses the fundamentals of digital image and video processing, including image filtering, color processing and image/video compression.

VCDemo Software:
The VCDemo software is a learning tool that can provide you with a hands-on experience in image/video compression topics. You can download the latest version of the software here. In our course, you will receive assignments based on the experiments you can do using this software.
This freeware program is created by the Multimedia Signal Processing Group (previously the Information and Communication Theory Group) of the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. The team leader of this project is my former Ph.D. advisor, Professor Inald Lagendijk.
EE-748 MACHINE VISION & PATTERN RECOGNITION 1
This is an undergraduate course introducing the basic concepts of machine (computer) vision and pattern recognition. Topics covered include morphological image processing, image segmentation, component analysis, clustering, detection and classification. A major part of the course is an individual project work.

Past courses
EE-214/CE-204 UNTAI ELEKTRIK 1 (ELECTRIC CIRCUITS 1)
This is an undergraduate course introducing the basics of electric circuit analysis. The main objective of the course are the understanding of basic definitions, concepts and laws of electric circuit.

EE-314/CE-302 UNTAI ELEKTRIK 2 (ELECTRIC CIRCUITS 2)
This is an undergraduate course presenting circuit analysis for non-DC inputs. I teach the “signal processing” part of the course, covering Waveform & Signals, Laplace transform and Fourier analysis.

EE-518 SISTEM KENDALI 1 (CONTROL SYSTEMS 1)
This is an introductory course on feedback control systems. Materials covered include Laplace Transforms (review), System Modeling, System Response Analysis and Stability Analysis.

EE-631 SISTEM KENDALI 2 (CONTROL SYSTEMS 2)
This course is the sequel to EE-518. Here we built upon the knowledge you’ve acquired previously to analyze and design discrete-time (“digital”) feedback control systems.

EE-519 ISYARAT DAN SISTEM 2 (SIGNALS & SYSTEMS 2)
This is the continuation course of Signals & Systems 1 and covers topics including sampling theory, Laplace Transform and Z Transform.
